OAC is a father and son owned company founded in 1997. As a General Contractor, OAC has risen from our humble beginnings to become an established Prime Contractor. The majority of our experience has been performing design-build, new construction/renovations, alterations/additions, building system upgrades and repair/maintenance services in the Federal Government sector. OAC has a healthy bonding capacity and proven workforce to meet the demands of complex projects.

The CEO and Co-Founder of OAC, Mr. Orlando Cruz, Sr. started his construction career in 1978. After 22 years in the industry joined forces with his son Ozzie Cruz to establish OAC. Orlando Sr. commonly known as “Senior” has served as Chief Engineer and Construction Manager in previous roles. Senior played a key role in establishing OAC in the SBA 8(a) Program in 2002 and initial entry into the Federal Government market. With 16 years of experience, Mr. Ozzie Cruz is the President and Co-Founder of OAC. Ozzie is a licensed General Contractor and seasoned professional who has managed hundreds of projects. Together they form a strong father-son partnership. Senior runs a “tight ship” supervising internal operations while Ozzie focuses on running pre-construction, customer service and business development efforts. The Cruz family is well represented throughout the company. Son and Brother to the founders, Orlando Cruz, Jr. joined OAC shortly after its inception. Orlando brings 16 years of industry experience and currently serves as the company’s Senior Project Manager. Orlando is actively involved in ensuring field operations remain safe, on-track and each project objectives is met for our customers. Whether you have the “Cruz” name or not, OAC team members, subcontractors and customers are welcomed as part of the family business.

OAC is poised for future growth with new efforts underway to continue our growth in the Southeast, Gulf Coast, Caribbean and Latin American regions. Looking to the future, OAC will continue to leverage our experience in the government sector and strengthen our presence in the private market.

OAC is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and is proactive in other industry related groups. We actively support the Special Olympics and always look for ways to give back to the communities we work in. OAC is proud of our achievements and look forward to building another decade of success.
